How to Get the Best from Your Candle
On your first burn, allow the entire surface of wax to melt completely, which usually takes two to three hours. This prevents the candle from tunnelling and means you will not waste precious wax. Limit each burn to a maximum of four hours. Before lighting your candle and between burns, trim the wick to five millimetres. Keep your candle away from moving air such as open windows, fans, or air conditioners. Never leave your candle unattended or move it while lit.
