How to Use Your Dry Body Brush
Before showering, work upwards in long, fluid strokes on your limbs and use circular motions on the torso and back. Lighter pressure on sensitive areas like the abdomen, breasts, and neck works rather well. A few overlapping swipes per area is plenty. Never use on broken skin, sunburn, scrapes, cuts, or the face. Rather straightforward, really.
Care and Maintenance
- Tap the brush after each use to remove debris and dead skin
- Wash bristles thoroughly once weekly with warm, soapy water
- Rinse well and air dry with bristles facing downwards
- Keep it dry between uses, never immerse or use in the shower
About Sisal Plant Fibres
The sisal fibre in our brush, also known as agave sisalana, grows much like a rather tall pineapple top, reaching 1.5 to 2 metres with sword like leaves. Each plant produces up to 250 leaves over its 7 to 10 year lifespan, each containing around 1,000 usable fibres. Hand weeding and sustainable growing practices make it genuinely environmentally friendly, whilst its exceptional durability means your brush will serve you brilliantly for years.
