Right, so here's the thing about this Navy MA-1 Bomber Jacket: it's been places. Literally. Originally designed for the U.S. Air Force, this rather splendid piece has been rescued from vintage military deadstock and given a proper second life. It's the sort of jacket that makes you look competent even when you're not entirely sure what you're doing.

Reversible Design: Flip it inside out to reveal a glorious bright orange lining originally intended for emergency visibility. Because apparently the Air Force thought of everything, and we're not about to argue with military-grade thinking.
Beautifully Crafted Construction: Cotton fabric with knit hems and cuffs that actually feel fabulously made rather than flimsy. The side entry flap pockets and zipper sleeve pocket are precisely where you'd hope they'd be, which is rather reassuring.
Marvellous Reversibility: Interior pockets hidden in that orange lining because functionality deserves to be stylish. Two jackets in one, essentially, though we suppose that makes us either frightfully clever or just rather good at recycling.
