A Rather Splendid Vintage Racing Watch That Actually Works
Right then, imagine if a 1970s racing driver and a Swiss watchmaker had a perfectly civilised disagreement, then compromised on something rather marvellous. This chronograph is precisely that sort of thing. It's a beautifully crafted timepiece that marries retro motorsport aesthetics with modern Japanese horsepower, all without being remotely pretentious about it.

Genuinely Heritage Inspired Design: The black dial, ivory accents, and burnt orange subdials nod directly to the GT cars of the 1970s and 80s, whilst remaining utterly fetching on the wrist. Think leather gloves and open roads, not flashy posturing.
Proper Engineering Inside: A Seiko VK64 hybrid mecha-quartz movement sits at the heart of this watch. Yes, it's a Japanese calibre, and yes, it's bloody reliable. None of that temperamental mechanical faffing about.
Materials That Won't Let You Down: Brushed stainless steel 43mm case with a brushed and polished bezel. Sapphire crystal that actually resists scratches. A perforated leather rally strap with quick release pins because, well, practicality matters.
Vintage Caseback Detail: Etched with a retro racing driver's helmet from the 1970s. It's the sort of thing only you'll notice, which makes it rather good.
