Stonz was founded in Canada in 2004 with a specific frustration: that outdoor footwear for babies and small children consistently failed to stay on the feet it was supposed to protect. The Stonz bootie is the answer — fleece-lined, wind-resistant, built from water-repellent 600D coated nylon, with two adjustable toggles that lock at the leg and ankle and decline to be removed by even the most determined small person. The opening is wide enough to slip over bare feet, socks, or shoes without any of the usual negotiation. Machine washable. Dries fast. For prams, carriers, backpack hikes and first steps in all weathers from autumn through to deep winter.

The soles are CPMA-certified — accredited by the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association for supporting healthy foot development, with form-fitting soft soles and no heel. PLUSFoam soles, used across the toddler range, are 100% recyclable and part of a closed-loop manufacturing process designed to keep EVA, PU and rubber out of landfill. Everything is vegan: no leather, no animal-derived materials, no compromise on either quality or ethics. Bootie Liners are available separately for genuinely cold days. The range also covers rain suits, rain boots in high natural rubber content, snow boots for sub-zero temperatures, mitts, hats and accessories — a complete outdoor kit for children who are going outside regardless of what the weather is doing, which is most of them.
