Rare Art and Vintage Textiles. Revived by Two Sisters Who Studied at the Royal College of Art.

Print Sisters Archive was founded in 2020 by Alexia and Claudia — sisters, both Royal College of Art graduates, both raised in a family where the arts were simply the furniture of daily life. Their parents and grandparents worked across textiles, graphic design and makeup. Their grandmother's influence and regular trips to Brussels ignited a specific and lasting passion for Art Nouveau. The first lockdown gave them the time and the reason to act on it. What began as a response to being at home — and to watching everyone turn inward and start caring about their spaces — has become one of the most distinctive independent print studios in the UK, with an archive of textile design artworks dating back to the 1830s that is among the largest privately owned collections of its kind in existence.

The process is meticulous and specific: original artworks are sourced, restored, reworked and revived with a contemporary touch that honours the original movement while making the result genuinely liveable. Art Nouveau forms, natural motifs, vintage botanical studies, geometric patterns from across the 1800s to the 1970s — all treated with the care that comes from people who understand what they are handling. The range covers art prints, printed cushions, wallpaper, and original vintage artworks, all produced using 100% recycled or sustainable papers and textiles. The prints have been stocked at Heal's — which is a meaningful credential for a brand that traces a direct line to an institution their father designed for in 1968. These are pieces with genuine provenance, made by people who know exactly what that means.
