Forged in the Arctic, Built for Everywhere Else

The founder of NVYSKN earned his qualifications as a Royal Navy bomb disposal clearance diver — one of the most demanding roles in the armed forces, routinely operating in the frigid waters of the Arctic Circle. The gear available wasn't good enough. He knew exactly what was missing, because he was the one standing in the water without it. The first prototype — a fleece-lined wetsuit liner that outperformed everything else available — was built out of necessity. What followed was a brand: NVYSKN, rugged British outerwear designed to withstand what most people actively avoid.

From the North Sea to everyday life

After his naval career the founder continued diving in the oil and gas industry from the North Sea to the West Coast of Africa, refining the brand's understanding of what real cold-weather performance looks like. The range now covers men's and women's coats, the signature MKII GD Parka, hoodies, gym wear, t-shirts, bottoms, accessories, socks and the Fighting Sailor® collection. Everything is built with the same conviction: quality first, function always, minimal branding throughout. The MKII Parka in particular has become something of a cult piece — customers consistently report it as the best winter jacket they've ever owned.
