Love Amber X is the work of Marie and Simon — an Essex family business founded in 2012, after the rather difficult arrival of their son Eddie (born five pounds via emergency C-section, NICU, colic, all the small terrors of new parenthood). Marie went looking for the kind of properly thoughtful jewellery she wished she'd known about earlier, fell rather in love with Baltic amber and the wider world of gemstones, and built what is now the UK's largest specialist retailer of genuine Baltic amber — over 3,135 Trustpilot reviews at five stars, more than a decade in business, and the founding distinction (they were the original company to do this) of combining genuine Baltic amber with genuine gemstones in their own designs.
