Douvalls was born when Alicia and Georgia Douvall — mother and daughter, both passionate about natural beauty with a conscience — discovered the remarkable properties of argan oil and looked for a skincare and makeup range that combined genuine efficacy with responsible sourcing. Finding a gap where luxury, ethics and honest natural ingredients should all exist together, they built the brand themselves. The result is an award-winning range of skincare, haircare, makeup and wellness products built around first cold-pressed argan oil, sourced exclusively from a women's cooperative in Morocco who farm and harvest it sustainably — and who have an ecosystem reforestation project to ensure the argan forest endures.

Every product is cruelty-free, free from parabens, sulphates and artificial perfumes, and formulated to deliver results rather than promises. The brand works closely with The Haven breast cancer charity, donates a tree for every sale through the Eden Project, and built a school for the women of the argan cooperative.
