Bareback Footwear is an independent family business based in Worcestershire, built on a straightforward belief: that boots should fit properly, feel genuinely comfortable, and hold up to whatever the British countryside throws at them — which is, more often than not, quite a lot. Founded in 2017 and now with a loyal following of equestrians, dog walkers and anyone who spends serious time outdoors, the brand designs its boots in the UK and has them handmade in Portugal by a factory with roots going back to 1927. The flagship Quebec — mid-calf, pull-on, waterproof, fur-lined — has become a word-of-mouth favourite for exactly the reason good boots always do: people put them on, don't want to take them off, and tell everyone they know.
