A Quick Word on Safety
Candles are rather marvellous, but they do require a modicum of common sense. Place away from curtains, furniture, and anything flammable. Keep well out of reach of children and pets. Do use a proper candle holder. Do extinguish when leaving the room or heading to bed. Trim wicks to one quarter inch before lighting for even, slow burning. Never move a lit candle, never use water to extinguish one, and never cluster multiple candles so closely they create excessive heat. For outdoor use, position in a sheltered spot away from wind. In short, burn thoughtfully, and this candle will reward you with glorious, guilt free ambiance.
