AIRO was founded by Lisa on a conviction that aromatherapy shouldn't be complicated, expensive or reserved for special occasions. The mission is quietly radical in its simplicity: to help you feel good through everyday rituals you already love. Natural ingredients. In-home fragrance products. Little moments of pleasure when you have no time for anything else. Be selfish. Sit on your own. Do nothing and breathe.
Behind the brand is something worth knowing. Lisa is training to become a clinical aromatherapist with a particular focus on working with older adults living with dementia — using the well-documented mood-boosting and memory-triggering properties of scent to improve quality of life. One in eleven people over 65 in the UK will develop dementia. AIRO wants to give something back. Every purchase supports that mission in the most direct way possible: by funding the person who is doing the work.
