A Brief Word on Burning Your Candle Properly
Candles rather enjoy being treated with a modicum of respect. Place yours away from flammable materials like curtains and furniture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Use a proper candle holder to contain melted wax and catch any falling embers. Trim wicks to one quarter inch before lighting for slower, more even burning. Never move a lit candle about, and do extinguish it before leaving the room or heading to bed. Avoid burning multiple candles too close together, and for outdoor use, ensure they sit in a sheltered spot away from wind. Water and candles are not friends, so use a snuffer instead.
