Remove before showering, bathing, or swimming to preserve their good looks. Keep them away from makeup, oils, and perfumes. When they need freshening up, use warm soapy water with a gentle soap and a soft cotton bud, then dry thoroughly. Do take extra care with the gold plating, as excessive rubbing can compromise the finish.
