Sophie The Label was founded in Derby in 2019 by Sophie herself — driven by a love of travel, beachwear and the conviction that beautiful, high-quality swimwear should be accessible to everyone, wherever they are in the world and whatever the weather outside. Designed in the UK and handmade globally, the collection spans bikinis, one pieces, shimmer sets, lingerie, activewear and resortwear that feels as good on a Maldivian beach as it does on a Tuesday evening at home.

Every piece is handmade, and wherever possible the fabrics are eco-friendly — including Amni Soul Eco, a biodegradable yarn clearly marked with a recycling symbol throughout the collection. Packaging is biodegradable too. This is a brand that takes sustainability seriously without making it the whole personality — the cuts are flattering, the fabrics are soft, and the designs are the sort that sell out in your size first.
