Look, we'll be honest with you straight away. The Kula vase is rather good. Possibly even marvellous. It's one of those objects that sits on your coffee table and makes everyone ask where on earth you found it, to which you can reply with a modest shrug and perhaps a knowing smile. The thing is utterly fetching, filled with veins of colour that make each piece gorgeously unique, and it's quite the showstopper whether you've crammed it with flowers or left it blissfully empty.

Mouth Blown by Hand: Each vase is made the old-fashioned way, by actual human master glassblowers working in proper European studios. It's the sort of craft that hasn't changed much in about five hundred years, which is rather reassuring in our modern muddle.
Genuinely One of a Kind: Because these are handmade, no two vases are exactly alike. The little air bubbles, the subtle variations in colour saturation, the minor imperfections you might spot here and there, they're not defects at all. They're proof of authenticity. Signs that a real person made this, not a machine. Rather marvellous, actually.
Proper Craftsmanship: This isn't thin, flimsy glass. We're talking thick, heavy, luxurious stuff, usually around 3mm thick. The colours are mixed right into the glass itself, not painted on like some sort of decorative afterthought. It's beautifully made to last.
