Tanel Veenre

Tanel Veenre was born in Tallinn in 1977 into a family of artists and musicians. He is now a professor at the Estonian Academy of Arts, a board member of the Art Jewelry Forum, and the founder of one of the most internationally acclaimed jewellery brands in the Baltic states. Tanel Veenre Jewellery was established in 2014 under the slogan "Kingdom of Dreams" — a phrase that captures the brand's essence precisely. These are pieces that ask you to believe in fairies and miracles, in winged seahorses and cosmic-dust-covered berries, in long-forgotten memories from gardens somewhere between Estonia and Paradise.

The brand is most popular among women with an urban sensibility who want jewellery that is expressive, high quality and genuinely unlike anything else. It has been featured in Vogue, W Magazine and L'Officiel, worn by the First Lady of Estonia and EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, chosen as the Estonian President's official state visit gift, and displayed in the windows of Selfridges in London. Exhibitions of Veenre's work have been held from Berlin to Bangkok.
