Porcelain Jewellery Handmade in a Ceramics Studio in Riga.

Rozenthal was founded in March 2016 by Madara Rozentāle, a ceramic designer from Riga, Latvia with a Master's degree in Visually Plastic Arts from the Art Academy of Latvia and over fifteen years of experience working with ceramics. The idea was disarmingly simple: take the craft and techniques of traditional ceramics and apply them to jewellery. The results are anything but simple. Nature-inspired in shape and colour — from tree branches and flower petals to cloudy skies and rough clifftops — each piece moves through three separate firings: first shaping and firing raw porcelain, then polishing and glazing, then hand-painting with gold or platinum luster in a final firing. No two pieces are identical.

The range includes necklaces, drop earrings, studs, and pendants in a variety of patterns from classic to marble. All pieces are finished with 14k gold-filled or 24k gold-plated fittings, nickel-free and hypoallergenic, and weigh just grams. Rozenthal's studio in Riga also functions as a co-working space and workshop for other ceramic artists — a brand where community and craft genuinely go together.
