In 1927, in a small workshop in southern Estonia, a man opened a shoe repair shop. Nearly a hundred years later, his great-grandchildren are still there — still working with natural materials, still making things by hand, and still producing footwear and homeware that outlasts almost everything else you will ever buy. Omaking is a four-generation family business with one of the most quietly remarkable stories in independent craft.

The range spans natural felt slippers — barefoot styles, lambswool-lined styles, and the KYOTO leather slipper nominated for the Estonian Design Award 2024 in the Best Lifestyle Product category — alongside vegetable-tanned leather sandals, cork and coconut fibre insoles, and handmade felt storage baskets finished with leather details sourced from production offcuts. Every piece is made from natural materials chosen for their longevity, breathability and beauty. Natural felt warms without overheating. Vegetable-tanned leather improves with age.
