Right, let's be honest. Finding a coffee that actually tastes like something other than burnt regret is rather harder than it ought to be. This Ugandan light roast, however, is rather splendid. Grown high in the Rwenzori mountains, each bean arrives with a crisp strawberry acidity, a lusciously creamy body, and a sweet caramel finish that lingers in the most agreeable way possible.

How to Brew Your Best Cup

V60 Method: 13g coffee, medium grind. Add 30g boiled water and stir. Rest 30 seconds. Add 120g water, rest 30 seconds. Add 100g water. Total brew time 3 to 3 and a half minutes.

Aeropress Method: 13g coffee, medium grind. Add 30g boiled water and stir. Add 170g water and stir. Brew for 45 to 60 seconds. Extract. Total brew time 1 and a half to 1 and three-quarter minutes.

Cafetiere Method: 40g coffee, coarse grind (serves 3). Add 96g boiled water and stir. Fill to 1 inch below the spout and stir again. Lid on, brew 2 minutes. Press, pour, and enjoy.

Espresso Method: Shot temperature 95 degrees Celsius. Single shot 12g in to 18 to 20g out, 28 to 32 seconds. Double shot 18g in to 28 to 30g out, 28 to 32 seconds.
