Using Your Candle Safely
This rather marvellous candle deserves a bit of respect. Place it away from curtains, furniture and flammable materials. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Use a proper candle holder to catch any melted wax. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each lighting for a slower, more even burn. Extinguish when you leave the room or retire for the evening. Never use water to extinguish, and do resist the urge to move a lit candle about. If burning multiple candles, keep them at least 12 inches apart.
