A Rather Splendid Handmade Glass Coaster
Picture this: a coaster so marvellously crafted that it actually deserves to be seen. Each one of these beauties is hand cut and painstakingly arranged into a chequered pattern, then fused together in the kiln at 800 degrees Celsius. The result is rather good indeed, with a soft, frosted finish that catches the light just so.
Why Choose Our Chequered Coaster
Handmade in Cornwall: Each coaster is made individually in our workshop, meaning yours is genuinely one of a kind (or as close as you'll get without commissioning a bespoke version, which would be frightfully expensive).
Fused Glass Technique: White and coloured hand cut glass squares are layered with clear glass on top, creating that soft, elegant whiteness through proper craftsmanship rather than shortcuts.
Colour Options: Choose your preferred colourway from our selection. If your chosen hue happens to be momentarily out of stock, do get in touch and we shall see what we can do.
Protective Finish: The clear glass layer protects your table whilst lending the whole thing an utterly fetching appearance.

These coasters are rather good at what they do. They protect your surfaces without looking like they're trying too hard, which is the hallmark of proper design.
