Bristolmade
Natural Skincare. Made by Hand in Bristol. Nothing Heated, Nothing Hidden.
Bristolmade was founded by Lisa Evans in Bristol after she spent too long looking for everyday skincare that was free from unnecessary chemicals and not packaged in single-use plastic — and eventually decided to make it herself. Everything is handcrafted in small batches in BS5, whipped rather than heated to preserve the full benefits of the ingredients, and packaged in glass jars with aluminium lids that are completely plastic-free and 100% recyclable. The products are free from parabens, artificial colours, synthetic preservatives and additives. What goes in is plant-based, organic, and chosen because it works. Over 20 stockists locally and nationally carry the range, because once people try it, they tend to keep coming back.
The Joy of Meno collection addresses something the broader skincare industry has been slow to take seriously: the specific changes that perimenopause and menopause bring to skin. Dryness, sensitivity, loss of elasticity, hormonal fluctuation — the range meets each of these with targeted formulations rather than generic moisturising platitudes. A Vitamin E face cream built around shea butter and soy oil for deep moisture and reduced sensitivity. Bath salts with pink Himalayan salt, magnesium, wild orange and peppermint for the days that need a proper reset. Lip balms made through a natural whipping process with organic shea butter. This is skincare that takes the moment seriously.
