They started designing in-house from Yorkshire and producing in small batches with artisan workshops in Bali — many of which they now know personally. Wayan and his two daughters Ni Kadek and Ni Wayan make the larger furniture pieces. Ketut hand-makes the chairs they design in-house. Other named artisans take care of the ceramics and rattan lighting. The brand puts each maker's name and face on its own site — which is, when you think about it, exactly the kind of provenance that should be the standard for handmade furniture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eThe range spans four distinct categories. Furniture pieces are hand-carved from sustainable teak and sungkai wood — chairs, tables, sideboards, and the larger statement pieces. And the ceramics range — plates, mugs, dining pieces — is hand-thrown by artisans whose techniques have been passed down through generations. Everything ships free to the UK.
